The Dance Academy of Stuart has performed this holiday classic, The Nutcracker for over 25 years. Every year we open auditions to our students who are at least 6 years old and enrolled in Ballet I or higher.
Since 1998 the Stuart City Dancers have been The Dance Academy of Stuart’s company comprised of serious young dancers from ages 10 to 18. These dancers are focused and have a strong desire to further their training and partake in additional performance opportunities including community outreach.
The art of performance is an essential part of dance education. It’s vital— not only does it build confidence, grace and self-reliance, but performing moves the heart and soul to experience emotions that can only be felt through music and dance. Our performances may look different this year but we are committed to giving our dancers performance opportunities through the year.
