Community Outreach
The Dance Academy has entertained the community with annual benefit performances around Martin County since 1998. These performances enrich the lives of our audiences and give the students various opportunities to perform throughout the year in many areas of our community.
Every March, The Dance Academy of Stuart has a benefit performance for local charities entitled. “A Lyric Night for ……..” The studio has generated income for such charities as Hibiscus House, the playground at Challenger School, the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast, and the Treasure Coast Wildlife Center.
Various outreach programs have enabled us to do shows at Club Med for the ARC of Ft Pierce, Dancin in the Streets, The Blake Library, Pipers Landing Country Club, Willoughby Country Club, Sandhill Cove Retirement Center, American Heart Association, Palm Beach Jewish Community Center, Treasure Coast Mall – Isadora Duncan Dedication, and the Treasure Coast Wildlife Hospital and Foundation.
The Dance Academy has group dance programs and summer dance programs. Through the years, children from the Dunbar School, Pine School and summer camp children from The Grace Place have participated in activities at the studios.
