Nutcracker Auditions

Friday, August 28 & Saturday, August 29

All Dance Academy of Stuart students who are at least 6 years old and enrolled in Ballet I or higher are eligible to audition for our Nutcracker performance. Nutcracker rehearsals are every Saturday starting after labor day. Weekly rehearsals schedules are posted online the Sunday before and vary week by week. Please do not audition if you are unable to commit to rehearsals. There is a $75 Nutcracker fee per dancer. This covers rehearsals and costuming. Ballet I students: (Must be at least 6 years old)
Friday @ 5:15 - 6:15 pm
All Ballet I students are eligible for roles of Mice, Angels, Gingerbread, Bells, Poinsettias.

Ballet I/II students
Friday @ 6:15 - 7:30 pm
All Ballet I/ II students are eligible for roles of Mice, Angels, Gingerbread, Cotton Candy, Bells, Poinsettias, Lollipops and Mini Chinese.

Clara, Fritz and Best Friend
Saturday @ 12:00 - 1:15 pm
Students auditioning for Clara must be enrolled in Ballet III for their 2nd year and on Pointe for 2 years. Ballet III/IV IV and/or V preferred for Clara.

Ballet II, II/III and III students
Saturday @ 1:30- 2:45 pm
All Ballet II students are eligible for Party Boys, Demi-soloist Spanish, Lead Gingerbread, Lead Angel, Poinsettias, Candy Canes, Ribbon Candy, Licorice and Cupcakes.

All Ballet IV and V
Saturday @ 3:00 - 4:00 pm
Eligible, if on Pointe, for Snowflake corps, Waltz corps, Russian, Arabian, Lead Chinese, Ribbon Candy, Candy Cane, Soldier and Parent.

All Ballet V and VI
Saturday @ 4:00- 5:15 pm
Eligible for Snowflake corps, Waltz corps, Russian, Arabian, Ribbon Candy, Parent and Maid. Ballet VI Leads as follows: Parent, Maid, Clara’s Mother, Spanish, Arabian, Russian, Lead Marzipan, Lead Snow, Lead Waltz, Shepherdess, Snow Queen, Dew Drop Fairy and Sugar Plum Fairy.

Nutcracker auditions late registrants only
Friday, September 4th @ 5:30-6:30 Stuart location.
