The Dance Academy of Stuart’s Lyrical Night Performance is a celebration of music, movement, emotion, and creativity. Held every spring since 2000, this event provides a unique platform for the Academy’s choreographers to develop new lyrical style dances unbound by a theme. Lyrical dance by its definition, is a fusion of ballet and jazz dance techniques and challenges one to show the meaning of the music through choreography and interpretation. Lyrical dance is expressive, subtle, yet dynamic, expressing emotions through movement. Lyrical Night is an unforgettable testament to the profound emotional impact of dance. During this show you will see select Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, Jazz and Musical Theatre classes, plus our Stuart City Dancers performing in classical pieces.
